A perusal of Yahoo Answers regarding tubal reversal cost recently led to some amazingly wrong answers being given. Another point I must make is that the success rate of less than 50% as given in the answer is wrong. An answer to another question about tubal reversal cost stated that the cost was at least $20,000, if not more. One last answer given that I really have to address was one given a couple years back about how “surgery is like good shoes. You pay more for quality.” To that I have to say, not necessarily. In fact, they usually charge less than you would find in your local area by contacting OBs, as the answer further suggested. You will find that not only do they usually cost less, they also have much better training and much more experience in performing the operation.
