A good skin care regimen should involve the following three activities:
1. Cleanse: The skin must be cleaned every day to remove dust, pollutants and perspiration that has settled on the skin surface. Those individuals who have dry or sensitive skin should use warm water to wash their skin. They can also use a mild natural cleanser once a week. Those who have a normal or oily skin should use a mild cleanser to wash their skin every day.
2. Moisturize: Barring those individuals who have oily skins, a moisturizer must be used every day as part of skin care. This will protect the skin from indoor winter heat and the harsh summer sun.
3. Protect: Natural sunscreen must be applied on all exposed skin whenever an individual plans to spend considerable time in the sun.
