Surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy are now the norm for the modern treatment for cancer. However, after having undergone these treatments many cancer patients look to alternative medicine for cancer to treat their condition and increase their overall health. Fortunately modern medicine has progressed a long way in the treatment and management of all forms of cancer. Even though our knowledge has increased we still have a long way to go before all cancers can be cured.
