Water and How It Helps Weight Loss

H2O is well know for it’s health benefits. It has also long been credited with helping people who are trying to lose weight. The reasons why though are not so widely known.
Many suspect that drinking water will help you feel fuller thereby eating or craving less high calorie food. There’s some truth to that.
Others might suggest that fumbling with a water bottle gives you something to do with your hands and that it takes your mind off of eating. There’s also truth to that.
There may be plenty of truth to these suggestions, but water also fulfulls a fundamental need for the body. It is needed for metabolism.
We know that metabolism plays a huge role in weight loss. But how does water fit in?
Well, it’s like this..the liver is the internal organ that metabolizes fat. It takes the stored fat (that fat which you want to get rid of) and it turns it into energy.
It has other functions too. One is assisting the kidneys. If the kidneys are not functioning optimally then, the liver helps out. But then the liver isn’t able to complete it’s other job of metabolizing fat.
The kidneys need quite a bit of water to function. But if insufficient amounts are not consumed by the body – it will store water. And the storeage locales within the body are not usually in places we would suspect or desire.
The body’s need to store water can be curtailed by consuming water consistently.
8 glasses of water each containing 8 ounces of water can do it for most people.
Overweight people as well as those living in a hot climate or exercising intensely require more, often twice the amount we think of as ‘optimum’.
The body is very efficient at regging rid of water that is not needed.
It’s wise to remember that most weight loss programs are going to restrict the caloric intake in some way. This automatically means you are going to be taking in less water.
About 30% of our total water intake comes from foods we are eating. Decrease your food intake and chances are you will be reducing the amount of water your body is used to getting.
So stay mindful of the need for water especially when cutting down on food intake. And you don’t need to wait until you’re parched to drink.
By the time you feel thirsty, the body has already begun the process of storing water.
Water actually places key role in my Weight Loss Breeze program. But I use it in totally different way than I’ve seen in any weight loss program before. Try it and you’ll see amazing results.
